Sarah Ann Ellis has practiced in the areas of family law, commercial dispute, and medical malpractice defense. During her career, she has handled complex litigation involving divorce, child custody, child support, property division, and modifications. She also has experience in paternity actions, guardianship, adoption, and the preparation of premarital agreements. Sarah Ann has been selected by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in family law.  

Sarah Ann graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English. While at the University of Tennessee, she was named a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.

Sarah Ann went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2010, where she participated in the Child Advocacy Civil Legal Clinic, Public Interest Law Association, and Women’s Law Association.  Since graduation, she has participated in the Capital Area Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers, Madison County Bar Association, and Family Law Section of the Mississippi Bar and has engaged in volunteer projects with the Jackson Junior League, Madison County Public Schools, and Madison Methodist Church. Sarah Ann resides with her husband, David, and their two children in Madison County.
